The pool
At the Omni in Cumberland, the pool is on a 5th-floor deck and rooftop terrace, with a pool bar and views of The Battery Atlanta. The seasonal pool bar is open noon to 10 PM. The hotel does not publish whether the water is heated.

Omni is our pick for a long, easy pool day. Its $50 day pass undercuts Epicurean's $75, and the published hours (6 AM to 10 PM) are wide. For height, Epicurean's 9th-floor terrace wins. Omni wins on schedule and price.
The hotel leaves out two things: it does not say whether the pool is heated or when the season ends. Atlanta's best swim months run June to August, and January highs average 12.2°C, so check before you plan a cool-weather visit. Weekly events are also held on the deck.
