Summer is the swim season in Jeddah, with June to August the best three months and highs still at 33.3°C in November. Six hotels here have rooftop pools, and none publishes a guests-only rule or a day-pass price. Rosewood and Centro Shaheen are the two that name a way in for visitors.

Our first pick is Rosewood Jeddah, where the pool is sold as a Pool Pass and children under 10 swim free. The easier booking is Centro Shaheen by Rotana, where the breakfast buffet package includes rooftop pool access, so you pay for a room package instead of chasing a pass.

When to swim on a Jeddah rooftop

June to August are the best three months for a rooftop swim in Jeddah. Highs stay warm after that: 33.3°C on average in November, 30.6°C in December and 28.8°C in January, so winter evenings and mornings can still work.

None of the six hotels states that its pool is heated. Centro Salama describes its rooftop pool as climate-controlled, which is the closest thing to a winter promise on our list. We have no event dates for Jeddah, so check hotel availability before you fix your trip.

Average daily highs: November 33°C (92°F), December 31°C (87°F), January 29°C (84°F). The warmest stretch for swimming is Jun–Aug.

Hotels you might expect here, and why they're not

Several well-known Jeddah hotels don't have a rooftop pool that any source confirms, so we left them off the ranked list.

  • InterContinental Jeddah by IHG. The hotel's own pages describe a landscaped outdoor pool and hot tub but never place the pool on the roof or on a top floor. No source confirms a rooftop pool, so it is classed as not-rooftop. Level and day-pass details are not stated.
  • Mercure Jeddah Al Hamra. Sources describe an indoor swimming pool only ("المسبج الداخلي", indoor pool). No source places a pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace, so it is not a rooftop pool.
  • Sheraton Jeddah Hotel. No source says the pool is on the roof or a top-floor terrace. Sources describe only an outdoor pool and a landscaped pool area with palm trees, so the rooftop claim is not supported.
  • Vivienda Hotel & Villas Jeddah فندق وفلل فيفيندا جدة. No rooftop pool is mentioned. The hotel's FAQ says most villas have private pools and terraces, and a guest review mentions a restaurant view of a swimming pool. Neither places a pool on a roof or top floor, so this is a ground-level pool at most.
  • Casablanca Grand Hotel. None of the three sources mention a swimming pool of any kind. The Google Maps listing gives only name and address; the hotel's Hajj and transport pages describe catering and transport services. No rooftop pool is confirmed.
