The pool

The Starling has an outdoor pool at 188 14th St NE in Midtown Atlanta. Room guests can swim, and a ResortPass day pass covers everyone else. Floor and heating are missing from the hotel's page.

Our take

The Starling is the cheaper Midtown way in. Epicurean Atlanta charges from $75 and publishes a 9th floor and a heated pool, so you pay more there for facts the Starling leaves out.

The catch is the cabanas. Early arrival is recommended to secure one, and the ResortPass listing starts them at €224. Without one, you're relying on whatever pool space is left after cabana guests settle in.

Tips

  • Arrive early if you want a cabana, since the listing recommends it for securing one.
  • Aim for June to August, the best three months to swim in Atlanta.

Before you go. Look at your date's availability on ResortPass before paying, since the hotel's own page lists no access rules.
