Porto Poniente is the one hotel on our list that tells you the floor, and the 7th is a good height for sea views. Gold Arcos publishes heating and winter use for its pools, while Porto states heating only for the children's paddling pool.
The downside is the age rule. The terrace pool is for 14 and over, so younger children go to the 5th-floor Marea Alta Rooftop Bar, where the heated paddling pool is. Two plunge pools also means a cool-off spot, and the hotel gives no pool size or lounger count.
