Book this for a heated rooftop pool with no children and no day-trippers. It is the only guests-only pool on our Cadiz list and the only one listed as heated.
The pool
The pool sits on a rooftop spa terrace of over 150 m2, with hydromassage seats and a sun terrace. The hotel lists it as heated and adults only. It publishes no floor, and it closes for the winter.
Our take
Luz de Gades is the only heated pool on our Cadiz list, which matters because the city's highs fall to 16.1°C in January. Hotel Olom has the cathedral view, but Luz de Gades is the one to pick for a dependable, quiet soak. The hydromassage seat has chromotherapy lighting, and guests also get a private jacuzzi and solarium.
The catch is the calendar. The hotel's published closure ran from 1 October 2025 to 1 May 2026, so the heating does not buy you a winter swim. The floor and the pool's hours are not published either.

Tips
- Check the hotel's current closure dates before booking. The last published closure ran 1 October 2025 to 1 May 2026.
- Use the private jacuzzi and solarium that come as guest privileges, not just the pool.
Before you go. Confirm the opening dates for your stay, because the pool shuts for the cooler months.
