Book here if you want a small, adults-only hotel with a saltwater pool on the azotea. It is a 15th-century villa with six rooms, so the deck stays small. The hotel doesn't publish whether outside guests can swim.
The pool
A saltwater pool sits on the azotea (rooftop terrace) of a 15th-century villa in Centro. Breakfast, brunch and cocktails are served beside the water. Floor, heating and pool hours aren't published.
Our take
Patio del Posadero is the smallest place on our list, with six rooms, and the only one that is adults only. Hotel Córdoba Center has a bigger solarium and a published seventh floor. Petit Palace has a sky bar beside its pool. Here the pool is part of a villa terrace.
The catch is missing detail. No floor, season, heating or day pass is published, and the pool is unsupervised. Email ahead if you plan to swim in a specific month.

Getting in

Children are not permitted at this adults-only hotel. The pool is unsupervised, which is one reason for the rule.
Tips
- Message the hotel about your dates before booking, since no season is published.
- Room access runs until 22:00 with prior notice and a €30 supplement for the Spartum room, so tell the hotel if you plan a late return.
Before you go. Ask the hotel which months the pool is open, because no season or heating is published.
