The Kimpton beats the Omni if you want heat and a second pool, and it costs less: $50 against $60. It matches the Hyatt Centric's 8th floor but charges $50 to the Hyatt's $20.
The downside is noise. Live DJs play the rooftop bar on Fridays and Saturdays, 3 pm to 7 pm. Go on a weekday if you want a calmer deck. The hotel doesn't publish age rules for the rooftop pool.
