The pool
The Pizina Roof Pool, an outdoor pool on the 13th floor at the top of the tower, has 360° panoramic views of the city. It is also used for events and cocktails. The catch is that access rules aren't published.
Our take
Holiday Inn is one of two hotels on our list that publish a pool floor, and at 13th it sits just below JW Marriott's 14th. JW is guests only. Here the access rules are missing, so a day visit is an open question.
Events are the other downside. The roof suits parties, cocktails and dinners for up to 100 guests, so the deck may be in use. Ask the hotel which days the pool is free.

Getting in
Access rules aren't published. We can't say whether non-guests can swim, and no day pass is listed.
Staying guests are the safest assumption. If you aren't staying, ask the hotel directly before you travel.
Tips
- Ask the hotel which days the roof is closed for events like pool parties or dinners.
- Travel in April to June, the best swim months in Guadalajara, for the warmest outdoor swim.
Before you go. Contact the hotel first to confirm who is allowed in the pool and whether it is heated.
