Our pick for a winter stay when you want the cathedral in view from the water. The rooftop pool is heated in winter and open to hotel guests and pre-arranged events only.
The pool
A rooftop terrace (azotea) holds the pool, a sun terrace and a chill-out solarium of hammocks, tables and armchairs. Views take in the Plaza de las Ranas library and Santa Ana Cathedral. Hours and floor aren't published.
Our take
This is one of two guests-only heated pools on our Las Palmas list. Hotel LIVVO Lumm is the other, and it publishes a 09:00 to 16:00 window. Here you get the cathedral setting instead, but you have to ask about hours.
The downside is that the hotel says heating applies in winter, and says nothing about the rest of the year. July to September is the best swim season in Las Palmas anyway, so summer visitors may not need it, but confirm before booking if you travel in spring or fall.

Tips
- In winter, when average highs fall to 22.3°C in December and 21.1°C in January, book here over an unheated pool.
Before you go. Email the hotel for the pool's opening hours before you book, since it doesn't publish them.
