The pool
Strand Ocean Drive Suites has its pool on the roof, on Ocean Dr in the Flamingo / Lummus area. Views run 360 degrees over Ocean Drive, the city and the Atlantic. The hotel doesn't publish its floor.
Our take
At $30 a pass, it costs $5 more than Hotel Greystone, which publishes a 4th floor and $25 pass. Strand's draw is the view, which wraps all the way around.
The downside is the missing detail. No floor or hours are published, and the property is a two-star. The 1052 Contemporary Building has several suites with direct rooftop pool access, so a room booking works too.
