The pick for a high pool with national park views. It is on the 10th floor, heated, and open to in-house guests only, with no day pass mentioned.

The pool

The heated pool is on the 10th floor beside the Sky Lounge, on Mombasa Road. It looks over the Nairobi skyline and Nairobi National Park, with an open-air terrace. Only in-house guests can swim.

Our take

Emara Ole-Sereni is one of two guests-only pools on our list, and the higher of the two that publish a floor. Kingfisher Nest is the other, and it publishes hours that Emara doesn't.

The pool sits next to a waterhole where elephants, giraffes and gazelles may be seen. That depends on the animals, so don't book around it. Sky Lounge has live music daily from Wednesday to Sunday.
