Lively and easy to get into: a heated rooftop pool in Downtown Phoenix with a $20 ResortPass day pass and Eden Rooftop Bar next to it. The deck is on the 3rd floor, the lowest published on our list.

The pool

The pool is on the third-floor rooftop at 2 E Jefferson St in Downtown Phoenix. It is heated, with cabanas, city views and Eden Rooftop Bar, which has a firepit and lounge seating. The catch is the low floor and the noise.

Our take

Denū is the other Downtown Phoenix pool on our list, and it is guests only. Palomar is the one to pick if you aren't staying, because it sells day passes from $20 and publishes that the pool is heated. Cabanas hold up to six people.

Eden has live music on Friday nights and DJs on summer weekends, so this is a social deck. Come on a weekday if you want quiet. Pool chairs are listed from €22.
