Book a Joya Spa treatment if you want a roof pool with Camelback Mountain views and long hours. Spa guests can use the terrace pool from 6 AM to 10 PM every day, and hotel guests can reserve private cabanas.

The pool

The Joya Terrace pool is on the Joya Spa rooftop terrace at the resort in La Posada, Scottsdale. It has private cabanas, loungers and views of Camelback Mountain and the resort. Access is limited to Joya Spa guests, and no floor is published.

Our take

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess also gates its roof pool behind a spa. Omni's advantage is the published schedule: 6 AM to 10 PM every day, with keycard access.

The downside is access. Only spa guests can use the pool, and the rooftop bar is reserved for them too. ResortPass lists passes from $35 per adult, but that listing doesn't say which pool the pass covers, so confirm before you pay. Treatments are booked by phone at (480) 627-3020.

Good to know

  • Hours run 6 AM to 10 PM every day
  • Camelback Mountain views from the terrace
  • Private cabanas, 11 AM to 7 PM, with a 40 inch TV

The catches

  • Spa treatment guests only; rooftop bar closed to the public
  • $35 ResortPass listing doesn't specify the Joya pool

Best forSpa-goers who want a rooftop terrace pool with mountain views.

Skip it ifYou want a pool you can walk into without a spa booking or a confirmed pass.

Getting in

Joya Spa treatment guests can use the terrace pool, and Joya Spa membership includes use of the terrace-top pool. A hotel keycard is required. Book treatments by phone at (480) 627-3020.

ResortPass lists passes from $35 per adult for limited cabana and pool access for non-overnight guests, though the listing doesn't specify Joya. Hotel guests can book cabanas in advance online through Overnight Guest Cabana Rental.

Day pass. From $35 for an adult day pass on resortpass.com, checked November 1, 2026. Prices change by day and season. See passes for Omni Montelucia.

Tips

  • Reserve a cabana online ahead if you're a hotel guest; they run 11 AM to 7 PM and come with sofa seating.
  • Loungers go to whoever arrives first, so get there early on busy days.
  • The Salt & Gila poolside bar is on the third floor, so don't count on it for roof drinks.

Before you go. Call (480) 627-3020 to confirm what a ResortPass purchase covers, because the $35 listing doesn't name the Joya pool.
