The pool
Alessia Dayclub runs the rooftop of the Downtown House building in Gonzalo Guerrero. The block-long infinity pool has a swim-up bar, sun loungers, and cabanas that seat up to 5 or 12 people. The floor isn't published.
Our take
Hyatt Centric is the more social day out than Aloft by Marriott. It has a swim-up bar, a DJ playing live from noon at weekends and group cabanas. Aloft's pass is a little cheaper at MX$545, but this one hands back a 500-peso credit with a beach bed or chair.
The downside is the volume. A dayclub with a DJ is built for company, so a quiet read by the water is a weekday job at best. Neither the floor nor the heating is published, though December highs average 28.6C.
