Summer decides the swim in Salou: June to August are the best three months, and winter highs fall to 14.1°C in January. Each of the 10 hotels we list has a rooftop or top-floor pool, but none sells day passes. Two are confirmed guests-only, and eight leave their access rules unpublished.

Our first pick is Hotel Olympus Palace, where the Summit terrace on the top floor has a glass pool and jacuzzi and runs 10:00 to 00:00 (seasonal). The easier pick for off-season trips is Num Hotel, whose rooftop pool is covered and heated through winter.

Hotels you might expect here, and why they're not

Several hotels people expect to find here have pools, but no source places any of them on a roof or a top-floor terrace.

  • Hotel Best Cap Salou. Hotel's own pages describe an outdoor pool facing the sea, an indoor heated pool and a splash pool, but never place any pool on the roof or top-floor terrace. Google Maps lists a swimming pool with no location detail.
  • Ohtels Vila Romana. The hotel's own site says its pool is indoor ("piscina interior"). No source places a pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace.
  • Salou Park Resort I. The hotel's own site says it has two pools and a heated pool in its Spa & Wellness area, but no source places any pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace. The Google Maps listing only says "Resort hotel" and the terrace is a cafeteria and snack bar. Status is therefore not-rooftop.
  • PortAventura Hotel Caribe. The hotel's own site describes white sand pools surrounded by tropical gardens. No source places a pool on the roof or a top-floor terrace.
  • H10 Mediterranean Village. The hotel's own site describes a heated indoor pool and children's pools, but never places a pool on the roof or an open top-floor terrace. Only the Google Maps listing (name and address) and undated guest comments were provided; the comments have no URL, so they are not used.
  • California Garden. The hotel's own site describes two outdoor pools but never places either on a roof or top floor; no source mentions a rooftop pool. The Google Maps listing gives only the address. The jump2spain price snippet is on another hotel's page and is not attributed to this hotel, so it was not used.
  • H10 Salou Princess. The hotel's site describes a large outdoor pool area with sun loungers and a jacuzzi, but no source says the pool is on the roof or a top-floor terrace. Pools on premises: yes. Family or adults only: both, with an adults-only jacuzzi and a children's pool. Children's programme: yes (Daisy Club, ages 4 to 12). No daycare service is mentioned.
  • Ponient Pirámide Salou by PortAventura World. The hotel's own pages describe outdoor pools surrounded by vegetation, with no roof or top-floor placement. The "rooftop (+18)" wording appears in a multi-hotel card on the homepage, not attributed to this property, so it is excluded. The jump2spain page is for Ponient Dorada Palace, a different hotel, so its price is excluded.
