The pool
The rooftop pool is on the 22nd floor of the Drury Plaza in Downtown, a heated outdoor pool with two whirlpools. It looks over the city and is open 9am to 10pm. A separate indoor pool and whirlpool sit in the San Fernando Tower.
Our take
Drury is the cheapest way up in Downtown, tied with Hyatt Regency at $20. It also gives you what Hyatt doesn't publish: a floor number and hours. Emma and The St. Anthony charge $100 for a rooftop day.
The catch is the 9am opening. Emma and Mokara both open at 7am, so early swimmers lose two hours here. The hotel's pool page also lists city views only, with no river view mentioned.
