The pool
The pool sits on the rooftop beside the Skybar on the 6th floor, 50 metres from Piazza Tasso. It is a small infinity pool facing the Gulf of Naples, with Vesuvius on the horizon. Size is the drawback, and swimmer rules for outsiders aren't published.
Our take
Hotel Plaza gives both hours and season in black and white, which Palazzo Guardati (only "seasonal") and Villa Fiorita (no dates at all) don't. The rooftop sits above the old center, so you get the town, the gulf and Vesuvius in one view.
The downside is size: the pool is small, and non-guest use isn't addressed by the hotel. Only the Skybar is stated as open to visitors. If a swim matters more than a drink, ask before you plan around it.
