Choose this one for a roof pool you can use in any month. Only hotel residents get in, year-round, and the hotel markets it for morning swims and sunset dips.
The pool
An infinity pool sits on the roof, with panoramic city views, planters and loungers. The hotel doesn't publish the floor. The catch is that it is closed to anyone not staying, and its heating isn't stated.
Our take
Thirty Three is one of the few guests-only pools on our list that says it stays open all year. Bayview Hotel & Spa on the 7th floor and Hotel Valentina on the 8th are the other guests-only options with a published floor. Thirty Three doesn't give one.
The downside is winter water. Average highs fall to 17.1°C in December and 15.3°C in January, and rooftop heating is not stated by the hotel. The indoor pool is heated to 29 degrees all year, so use that when the roof is too cold.

Tips
- Plan your swim for morning or sunset, the two times the hotel promotes the roof.
- Between November and March, plan to use the heated indoor pool, set to 29 degrees, if the roof feels too cold.
Before you go. Check with the hotel whether the rooftop pool is heated if you travel from November to March. It doesn't say.
