The pool
The infinity-edge pool is on the rooftop in Kebon Sirih, Menteng, with Jakarta skyline views. On the 6th floor rooftop you'll find 670 Bar, and Italian restaurant Zoti is up there too. The pool is open to guests only.
Our take
Morrissey is the Menteng alternative to Kempinski for people who plan to book a room anyway. Kempinski sells day access; Morrissey doesn't. In return you get an infinity-edge pool with loungers, plus 670 Bar and Zoti up on the roof.
The honest downside is the layout. Half the rooftop is covered as an indoor area, and only the half beside the pool is open-air. Kemang Icon is the other guests-only pool on our list, and it publishes a pool size where Morrissey doesn't. The hotel does have a Junior Lounge with climbing and sliding for children.
