The pool
Dua's Altitude Pool Deck is on the rooftop in Downtown Miami, with an infinity pool and plunge pools. Views run over the city and the bay. No floor number or heating detail is published by the hotel.
Our take
Dua is the better value of the Downtown day passes if you plan to use the spa. At $30 it costs $5 more than the citizenM passes, and the price includes the cold plunge, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Hyatt Centric Brickell charges $40 for its 19th-floor pool.
The catch is that the hotel gives no floor and no heating information. If you want to know exactly how high you are swimming, or whether the water is warm in January, you have to ask before you pay.
