Choose this for a heated rooftop dip rather than laps. The mini pool is 1.1 m deep, with a solarium beside it and panoramic views from the top of the building.

The pool

This is a small heated mini pool on the rooftop terrace, with a solarium next to it and panoramic views of the surroundings. Floor, hours and who can use it aren't published by the hotel.

Our take

HF Ipanema Park is the opposite case on our list: a 15th-floor pool with published hours, but for guests only. Vincci publishes exact dimensions and says the water is heated, yet gives no hours and no access rules.

The downside is size. This mini pool suits cooling off and sunbathing, and it will feel tight with a full solarium. The rooftop restaurant, Terraço do Jardín, is a restaurant, and the Onda lounge bar is separate from the roof.

Good to know

  • Heated pool, a plus from November to January
  • Mini pool, 1.1 m deep
  • Solarium beside the pool, panoramic views

The catches

  • Mini pool, too small for lengths
  • Hours and access rules aren't published

Best forCouples or solo travelers after a heated rooftop pool and a sunbathing spot.

Skip it ifYou swim lengths or need a bar next to the pool.

Getting in

Who can use the rooftop pool isn't published, and no day pass is listed. Treat it as a guests' amenity unless the hotel tells you otherwise.

Ask about opening hours when you book, since none are published.

Tips

  • Go from July to September if you want the solarium at its best, though the heating helps outside those months.
  • Plan drinks downstairs at the Onda lounge bar, which is separate from the rooftop.

Before you go. Check the pool hours with the hotel. The dimensions are published; the hours are not.

Pool facts and where they come from

Facts marked "unconfirmed" come from a travel guide or booking site, not from the hotel. Check them with the hotel before you plan around them.
