The pool
Porta Nobre has its pool up on the roof, on Rua de Miragaia, with city views. The hotel shares it with the garden and opens it to guests from May to October. Floor and daily hours aren't published.
Our take
Porta Nobre is a guests-only pool, like Hotel Boa-Vista in Foz do Douro and HF Ipanema Park. HF Ipanema Park publishes its floor (15th); Porta Nobre doesn't. What Porta Nobre does publish is the season and a price, which most pools on our list leave out.
The catch is the calendar. Porto's best swim months are July to September, and the pool closes after October, so a November to April booking has no pool at all. Check the dates before you pay for the roof.
Good to know

Tips

Before you go. Check your dates against the May to October season before you book. Daily hours aren't published, so ask the hotel.
