Jupiter is one of the few hotels on our list that names an infinity pool, and it pairs it with a rooftop bar serving drinks, cocktails and dining. That combination makes the roof the draw here. Don't confuse its BoaVista Bar with Hotel Boa-Vista, the guests-only hotel in Foz do Douro.
The downside is the blank access line. Unlike Boa-Vista and Porta Nobre, which say guests only, Jupiter gives no rule, so you can't tell whether visitors can swim or only drink. Ask first.
