Choose Le Méridien for the widest swim window on our list: 5am to 11pm daily, in a pool the hotel describes as heated all year. It's guests only, with no day pass.
The pool
On the roof of a Downtown hotel at 131 S 300 W, this is an outdoor saltwater pool. The hotel's Facebook page calls it an all-seasons heated rooftop pool. The floor isn't published.
Our take
Le Méridien is a close match for Element, a few doors along on the same stretch of 300 W. Both are heated and both are guests only. Le Méridien gets our edge because the hotel describes the pool as heated in every season, and the hours run 5am to 11pm.
The downside is Element's too: with no day pass, a room is the only way to swim. Hyatt Regency's rules are unpublished, but Le Méridien at least tells you plainly where you stand.
