The pool
Omni Montelucia's Joya Terrace pool is on the Joya Spa rooftop terrace in La Posada. It looks over the resort and Camelback Mountain. No floor is published, and the terrace restaurant is closed to the public.
Our take
This is a spa pool first and a day-out pool second. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess runs a similar spa-roof model but shuts out non-guests altogether, so Omni is the better bet when you don't have a room.
The catch is supply. Passes are limited, the price isn't shown, and the Joya Terrace restaurant with cocktails is reserved exclusively for Joya Spa guests. Don't plan a drinks-by-the-pool afternoon unless you book a treatment.
