The pool
A rooftop deck with a plunge pool and sweeping skyline views, at 550 Wellington St W in Old Toronto. The season runs May through September. The floor isn't published, and the pool is closed for 2026.
Our take
Like Hotel X and BISHA, 1 Hotel is guests only, but it also admits building residents, and it's the one that spells out its season: May through September. Hotel X publishes a floor and heated water instead.
The downside is crowding rules. Chairs go first come, first served with a 90-minute limit and no reservations, so a warm afternoon can mean waiting for a seat. Heating isn't published either, so don't count on a swim in the cooler ends of the season. Harriet's Rooftop restaurant and bar sits on the same deck.

Chairs are for registered guests and residents, first come, with a 90-minute daily limit. Outside food and drink aren't allowed, and pets can't go on the pool deck. Age rules aren't published.
Tips
- Arrive early on warm days: chairs are first come and nothing can be reserved.
- Order from the Pool Deck menu, because outside food and drink aren't permitted.
Before you go. With the 2026 season over, check the reopening date for May before you book.
