The pool
The pool is an urban rooftop pool on the 19th floor in Downtown Miami, large enough for laps. Lounge chairs and white umbrellas line the deck, with high-rise views of the city. A past guest found it closed for renovations.
Our take
Hyatt Centric has the highest floor on our list that publishes one. W Miami is at 15 and 1 Hotel South Beach at 18, and both are guests only, so this is the way up if you aren't checking in. citizenM Worldcenter is cheaper at $25, but its pool is on the 11th floor.
The downside is reliability. The pool has been closed for renovation at least once, and the date isn't published. Confirm it's open on your date before paying $40.
