Stay here if the bay is the draw: the rooftop deck looks over Biscayne Bay, Brickell, South Beach and Coconut Grove. The hotel limits the pool to guests, so don't count on a day pass.
The pool
The pool deck is on the rooftop in Coconut Grove, with cabanas and daybeds. Bellini, the rooftop restaurant, looks over the bay. The floor and heating aren't published, and the hotel says the deck isn't open to the public.
Our take
Mr. C is the other Coconut Grove rooftop on our list besides Mayfair House. Mayfair sells day passes from $40, while Mr. C says its deck is for guests only. A ResortPass listing shows from $50, which conflicts with that wording.
A $28 nightly amenity fee, tax included, covers the pool deck. Cabanas cost an extra $50 from Friday to Sunday. Pets aren't allowed on the deck.
Good to know
- Biscayne Bay, Brickell and South Beach all in view
- Daybeds and cabanas on the pool deck
- Cabana includes a fruit plate, water and a pitcher of cocktail
The catches
- Hotel says the pool is not open to the public
- $28 nightly amenity fee, plus $50 for weekend cabanas
Best forOvernight guests who want bay views and a cabana on the roof.
Skip it ifYou want a sure day pass, since the hotel says the pool is guests only.
Getting in
Hotel wording is guests only: the pool is not open to the public. A ResortPass listing shows a day pass from $50, but it contradicts that, so confirm before paying.
Guests book cabanas directly with the hotel. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours, and a cabana holds a maximum of 6 guests.
Day pass. From $50 for an adult day pass on resortpass.com, checked October 30, 2026. Prices change by day and season. See passes for Mr. C Coconut Grove.
Tips
- Book a cabana for a weekday to avoid the extra $50 charged from Friday to Sunday.
- Call the hotel to confirm day pass access before buying anything on ResortPass.
Before you go. Confirm directly with the hotel whether a non-guest day pass is honored.
