The pool
The pool is on the rooftop deck of Mr. C in Coconut Grove, with cabanas, daybeds and Bellini rooftop restaurant overlooking the bay. The hotel says it isn't open to the public. A $28 nightly amenity fee, tax included, covers the pool deck.
Our take
Mr. C is the quieter Coconut Grove pick if you're staying. Mayfair House, a few streets over on our list, lets non-guests in from $40, while Mr. C's own line is guests only.
A ResortPass listing shows a $50 adult pass, which doesn't match the hotel's rule. Treat it as unproven. Cabanas cost an extra $50 Friday to Sunday, hold up to 6, and have to be cancelled within 24 hours.
