Stay here if you're traveling with children and want a heated rooftop pool. Only hotel guests can use the Boga Sky pool, and the kids' pool, with slides and a pirate ship, is open all year.
The pool
The heated (atemperada) rooftop pool is part of the Boga Sky Lounge, with a cafeteria and cocktail service. The hotel reserves the rooftop for accommodated clients. It has three pools in total, and it doesn't publish the rooftop's floor, hours or season.
Our take
Hotel DDC also has a heated pool. DDC states its floor, hours and all-year opening. Port Alicante publishes none of those for the rooftop, but it adds a kids' pool with slides and a main pool with Balinese beds and a pool bar.
The catch is access and timing. Only guests swim on the roof, and the year-round claim covers the kids' pool, not the rooftop. Some Boga Sky Bar events open to the public, such as the Glow Nights event on Saturday 24 October, but the pool is not part of that.

Some Boga Sky Bar events are open to guests and the local public. The Glow Nights event on Saturday 24 October was one of them.
Tips
- Check the Boga Sky Bar event listings. Some are open to the public, which is the only way onto the rooftop without a room.
Before you go. Ask whether the rooftop pool is open on your dates, since year-round opening is published only for the kids' pool.
